VIATEC is the only trade show for road construction and infrastructural rationing in the alpine regions. Main topics of the show are construction, reconditioning and maintenance of roads, tunnels and bridges in regions located at high altitude and/or in challenging geographic zones.

The 2009 edition of Viatec in Bolzano took place in combination with the trade show BAUMEC and saw the combined presence of 11.200 visitors and 220 exhibitors on a gross area of 18.000sqm. 4.100 visitors came alone for visiting VIATEC incrementing VIATEC-visitor numbers by 52% compared to 2008.

VIATEC will be held concurrently with the International Symposium related to the construction, maintenance and installation of tracks and roads - Brenner Congress.
